“Talking Tweens & Teens” Practical Public Speaking Camp

“As long as there are human rights to be defended; as long as there are great interests to be guarded; as long as the welfare of nations is a matter for discussion, so long will public speaking have its place.”

William Jennings Bryan

Dates: Session 2: 6/17 – 6/20/19  (4 days), Session 4: 7/8- 7/11/19 (4 days)

The workshops are designed for students who desire to improve their communication skills but do not wish to enter competition. Each class will cover particular aspects of public speaking and highlight different types of speeches including Spontaneous Speaking, Platform Speaking and Interpretive Speaking. Specific practicum, drills and exercises will accompany each session.
