Children will be taught the basic fundamentals and tactics of the game of soccer through our small sided games curriculum. Our team of trained coaches love teaching soccer and bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the soccer field. Our classes teach kids of all ages in a high-energy, non-competitive program designed to encourage good sportsmanship and a love for sports. We create a fun, positive and safe environment for kids to learn how to play soccer and develop friendships through teamwork in our soccer activities.
Instructor: Rusty Millard – Coach Rusty has played the game of soccer for 30 years and been involved with coaching soccer for 13 years. He is currently the Head Soccer Coach at Los Gatos High School and is the academy director for the Los Gatos Soccer Academy. Coach Rusty has received his formal training to coach soccer through the NSCA coaching courses. He earned his BA in Social Science from San Jose State University and his MA from National University in Education. In addition to coaching soccer, Coach Rusty is a teacher at Los Gatos High School.
