The first session of EES Happy Summer Camp is quickly coming to an end. We would like to thank you for allowing us to be an important part of your child’s early education. During this week, not only did students have had Chinese lessons, English and Math tutoring, they constantly had smiles on their faces both in and out of the classroom.
In the morning, they first began their day with a camp dance. Its fast-paced steps woke them all up, and then re-energized with snacks afterwards.
Our afternoon theme-based programs have enabled students to make different types of Chinese traditional food such as noodles and rice balls. They created different art projects and explore a variety of topics about nutrition. Students have also shared the fun by playing many well-designed games and activities all set up by our student volunteers. Freeze dance and balloon tag were some of the favorites!
Our special camp – Lego class students have also had an awesome time in designing, building and playing mini golf course, skyscrapers, motorized cars and many more. They even built a bridge!
Finally, a special thanks to our volunteers who helped ensure a playful, successful and safe environment for our students. The energy and love they bring to the camp is immeasurable, and our camp students definitely loved spending time with our big sisters and brothers.
